LHP provides quality, professional home repairs to low-income homeowners who cannot afford the necessary improvements needed to increase the health and safety of their home. Our goal is to help as many Lemay residents remain in their home for as long as possible. Any Lemay homeowner in need of assistance is encouraged to apply. However, priority is given to homeowners that are on the verge of becoming homeless, over 65 years old, considered low-income, have a disability, and/or need to abate a code violation issued by Saint Louis County.
Anyone who needs this type of assistance is encouraged to apply today. Bear in mind that anyone who receives this type of help is required to promise to stay in their home for a period of time. Please review the enforceable regulatory agreement and contact us if you have any questions.

Contractors can download the application form here.

LHP provides a Homeowners Education Workshop Series to any interested individual. The workshops are generally free or low cost and include refreshments thanks to generous donors. Classes within the series can include but are not limited to: Selecting a contractor, Creating a household spending plan, Avoiding Foreclosure, and Services for seniors. To learn about the next available classes contact info@lemayhousing.org today.
LHP provides support to area neighborhood associations. Neighbors from around East Ripa, near Hancock High School, and near the corner of Hoffmeister and Broadway meet periodically to discuss issues of mutual concern to them. LHP provides refreshments, meeting notification, and if necessary contacts guest speakers. Guest speakers in the past have addressed neighbors concerns about crime, the streets, the upcoming community center, the casino development, and the trash districting. To learn how to become more involved in your neighborhood, email info@lemayhousing.org right away!

What our volunteers have said: Ability to make a big change in a small amount of time. I was impressed that if the “team” effort wasn’t enough that a private contractor would be hired to complete the work.
What our homeowners have said: Your people are so kind and thoughtful and great. I don’t know what I would have done without their help. I probably would have been put out in the street. Thank you very much. God bless all of yous.
