December 2011
Dear friends of Lemay ,
It is with some sadness that I let you know that I am leaving Lemay Housing Partnership as its Executive Director to pursue other opportunities in the New Year.
I want to thank each of you for the faith you’ve placed in me and in the Partnership. I have learned much in my nearly 7 years here but the thing I learned above all else is how much I love Lemay and the people like you who make it great. You welcomed me, explained things to me, and helped me see how things work and how to help make it better.
My decision to leave was not taken lightly and I struggled with it for a long time. But one thing is clear to me, LHP has been around since 1998 – long before me – and it will be around long after me.
I think the future holds exciting opportunities for both my family and for Lemay . The Partnership is led by a strong Board of Directors filled with good people who care very deeply about the community. LHP staff are experienced in housing, social service, and working in diverse communities. They show every day that they are extremely committed to making Lemay a healthy place to live and thrive.
The greatest gift given to me during my tenure is the feeling of being home. I moved a lot growing up and I truly felt like I was welcomed here and will always think that “ Lemay means home.” For that, and for so much more, thank you,
Justine
